[...] Bicycle Coffee Company is worthy of the Tired Man's Award. The small company delivers local (San Francisco, for them) roasted coffee beans that have been grown on organic, fair trade farms by bike to shops, cafes, hotels, grocery stores, and whoever else makes the coffee call. Started in 2009 by three brothers, a cousin and a family friend, the idea originated from their journey into the rain forests of Central America. The group learned about making coffee first hand, from growing, picking and roasting, and realized the effort needed to make a good cup of coffee. Once home and confident in their own coffee roasting skills, the company was born and plans to always remain true to its ideals of supporting sustainable farms and using bikes for delivery purposes.
Hi!

I love your coffee! I met someone when they were doing a demo at Whole Foods in Pac Heights. I recently bought a bag and have been french pressing everyday before work. I think this is just as good if not better than Philz! Definitely better than Starbucks and gives Peet's some competition. I'm happy it is all fair-trade organic and local. Yay!

All of our Latin American coffees are Bird Friendly. Also, all Bird Friendly coffees are shade grown because the trees for the birds also shade the coffee plants.
